Awwwww! Farm life!! Thanks for sharing, Peeper! I wish you would take pictures daily to share! I miss your world!  

Holy smokes, siamese, tuxedo and a Russian blue all in one basket. All of my faves. cat one in the upper left, I'm not so familiar with. 

This hen has decided to hide her eggs with the kittens. At least now we know where it is and I don’t have to search for it when it’s time to make eggs for dinner lol. She also sits on them like they are chicks. That gray mama just went into labor and isn’t the mama to these kittens but choose to have her kittens with them. Just yesterday she was growling and hissing at them. Time to feed the baby orphaned kitten her milk supplement. She’s not getting enough from our mama. If I do it now I can push lunch off a little longer. It’s one of those days where I feel like I’m going to eat everything in the house if I eat right this minute. 

I’ll try to take more pics and post! With online schooling, tending the garden, researching and buying a truck, dropper feeding a kitten every few hours etc I keep forgetting to take pictures :/.

Katsolo, I honestly don’t know what these kittens are. We have three black with white chests and some white on their faces. We have two of the white and gray ones and a gray calico. The newest one from that gray mama is gray like her. My middle says she has a gray and black one but I haven’t went back to check. She bit me when I tried comforting her lol. I decided she must want me to leave her alone but she still lets the chicken in with her?? It’s her first litter so she’s confused. These kittens are from our black mamas first litter.  

the siamese look like lilac points. The grey mama looks like a Russian blue and the black and white, especially on the chest, looks like tuxedo. Your chicken cracks me up. so cute and beautiful. all of them.

That's so cute, I love chickens and cats! We once had 100+ chickens and that one looks like the one original we have left. It looks like five kittens? 

Thanks guys :). Chris, the chicken came first but she came to the box after the kittens :).  

Esther, this is a Buff Orpington hen. Very mild mannered and good with kids which is why we have them. She’s around 6 months old. There are 5 big kittens there. The little orphan likes to burrow under the bigger ones for warmth I guess so you can’t see him. The gray mama had one gray kitten right after I took this. She has 3 now and I think they’ll all be gray like her. I take in cats that have been dumped, orphaned or from people who can’t keep them any longer. They all live outside. They are basically tame barn cats. We are surrounded by wheat fields and they have plenty of mice and moles to eat and I feed them twice a day. It’s not the best life for them but it’s better than being dumped to fend for themselves against the coyotes around here. We tend to get more males than females. We have every color except yellow/orange. We had a tan one a few years back.  

OMG 🥰🥰🥰 that is the cutest!! 

Oh my goodness!!! Too freaking cute! We have the same chickens I believe. They will be egg layers. All new to me lol. God bless you for helping out the felines. I love animals ❤️❤️❤️. Oh my gosh I'm having that same kind of day where I want to eat everything in sight 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ 

Yeah, I knew the chicken. Those are the best mamas and we always pick Buff when kids come up to hold a chicken. We get all of our cats from the Humane Society, being an adoptive family. We currently have one big outdoor kitty who brought in a baby bunny the other day which made me burst into tears, a fluffy cuddly black kitty that's not as old as the big one but the oldest girl and we've had her longest, a SUPER fluffy calico who we have to shave because of mats, and a very tiny tabby who looks and acts like a kitten but is really almost two years old. She's a stinker. I have no idea why I just told you all of our pets but there you are. 😂 

Can’t pass this by. Look at it. Chickens and cats getting along better than humans get along. We can learn from these creatures. Love your farm life Peeper. 😊😉
