Last night's dinner...no those aren't baby potatoes. Roasted Radishes! Came across this online. I will roast anything, but even this made me sceptical. I am now a believer. Roasting radishes takes away the strong "sting" that makes it good in salads. After roasting, it is almost a sweet flavor. Served over arugula with lime juice. I will have again! Onward, friends!

I was surprised! Kept waiting for a "bite/sting" typical of raw radishes. It was gone...but was slightly sweet. Kept pretending they were potatoes.

shirfleur 1, I have never had daikon radish (unless in mixed dishes I didn't pay attention). Let me know how it goes!
