Binky, the Halloween bumblebee and sous chef, helped with the cooking today. Lunch Binky's Base Crustless Quiche at 79 calories a serving. Fun on its own or add cooked diced ham, chicken, or bacon. and Dineer Binky's Meaty Flowerbombs: meatballs wrapped in red bell pepper and onion to make a flower...then wrapped again in one strip of no sugar added bacon. What excitement for a pup! Onward, friends!

Sounds yummy and an adorable assistant!! Mine would never go for a costume, I can't even get Pepper pups collar back on as I took it off to adjust it.

wholefoodnut, small doggies often need to wear a harness rather than a collar when on a leash because their necks are so small they can snap. We started with a harness (XXS) to go on walks. She would get SO EXCITED when I picked up the harness because it meant "a walk". Slowly we have tried other outfits (now XS/S), and then usually take her for a walk afterward. Hi Pepper pup! Be nice to your mom!

Harnesses work well for many short haired breeds. Tried on my Chi-pom too furry (Pomeranian fur) my 90 pound mutt hates anything on her body. UGG I tried a harness, took it back to the store as I could not get it on her. My Jazzy (25 # Bosty mix) loves her collar and leashes for walks she would like a harness. Get a leash out and she is excited and ready to go--up on a chair so I can reach to clip her on. Pepper is the opposite and even hates going for walks even if I tried continuously since she was a puppy. She tries to hide--kinda hard.

Awwww...poor Pepper! "Know thy pup" is my motto. Each has its own needs and likes! If your pup is 25+ pounds then I'm sure collars are fine, and probably more comfy! I'm sure Pepper has other forms of play and exercise! I feel like Binky is getting "big"...she was 5 pounds 8 ounces over 6 weeks ago, but I'm sure she's over 6 pounds now by how things fit. She's hard to fit because she has a mini-dachshund chest (barrel big) but chihuahua legs. Go figure!
