Gm fs! l'shanah tovah, if applicable! It is dark and gloomy. I am set to work out. Dragged out the 10# weights... We'll see. We ate leftovers last night but my phone was upstairs and i was too dog tired to run up and get it. Way over again. I have brunch/lunch with bff and his dh next Saturday, but until then, rm is finishing the ribs and the coast is clear for me to eat better. Planning to make a couple of soups in the next few days. Going to do minestrone and split pea with chicken sausage and maybe chicken green curry. Going to use the rest of the garden beans. Have a good one, everybody! Edited to add two things: * I bought some "North Carolina style" bbq sauce to have a few kinds available for dinner party. I had only heard of it on food network. Friend was going on about how great it is so i tried it last night. Holy moly, it is sooooooo delicious. Hats off to nc!!! * I only worked out 4 days last week and it is in my head. Rm has done all the dog walking for last 3 days bc i have been so tired. I feel behind and like i am a screw up, let myself down, etc etc. So i am going to embrace the suck!! I do feel very blessed and lucky to have all my gym pals right here!!

Ty, you guys! Nike, ty for the boost and glad to see uou! @chris, i did as you suggested and worked out, about to get on helga armed with some tay-tay. ty! Ty@gz9, the sauce is vinegary and peppery and thin. I just learned from the Wikipedia that carolina gold is from south carolina and has mustard in it. I had only been familiar with what i had assumed was Texas style. Idk what umami is for sure but i think the nc sauce is maybe very umami.
