Fasting a.m. BS = 166, weight 174.4. Last night the BS was 123. Spent the day taking a neighbor to the doctor and then a 2nd trip to drugstore and post office. Breakfast was Keto coffee, same as this morning. I sandwiched lunch in between trips, hamburger & scrambled egg. Supper was hamburger stir-fried with bell pepper mix, cheese on top. The veggies weren't legal on Beef & Butter, so I didn't lose much, but down a little. I am already having to force myself to eat hamburger -- I'll have to switch to eggs and bacon today. Thursday Progress: net carbs 7.77, 1004 calories, 6% carbs, 77% fat, 17% protein. BS this evening = 117. Today I did manage one hamburger patty for lunch, Keto coffee for breakfast and supper, plus mixed nuts and cheese stick for supper, cheddar cheese snack when I came home from work at 9:30 pm. Today was 5 hours working at the library and a 2-hour library board meeting. This is truly whipping my sugar cravings back after my holiday indulgence. Just two more days for Beef and Butter and then back to regular Keto on the week end. My main goal:get that blood sugar back down as quickly as possible. Secondary goal: drop that 7 lb. weight gain soonest. Thanks for encouragement from everyone.

You should choose the proteins you like. I eat a lot of hamburger. I find it quite versatile (and cheap) but chicken is good too or ground turkey or whatever. I will be having pork tenderloin today

That was very nice to take your neighbor! Good luck with your plan - you have more determination than I do if you can give up veg!
