Started out well, skipping breakfast, but ended up with supper at Cracker Barrel. Delicious, but not on my daily plan.

Skipped breakfast today. Lunch at 1:30: scrambled eggs, keto pumpkin bread, butter, mixed nuts. Supper cottage cheese, kiwi, multi-grain bread, butter.
Worked a couple of hours in the garden today, adding three bags of compost to the raised beds. Planted sweet alyssum in the iris bed. I don't usually have allergies at this time of year, but I have sneezed and sniffled all day. Something is getting to me, probably from spending so much time outdoors.

Fasting blood sugar 146/ weight 166

Skipped breakfast. Lunch was leftover spinach, black soybean spaghetti, pork loin stir fried with 2 eggs and a salad, same as yesterday, but I did notice I recorded that I ate 12 cups of spinach yesterday! I corrected that :-) Supper was cottage cheese, blueberries and keto English muffin. Glucose down to 85 at 10pm so I ate yogurt.
Gardened for 2 hours. Today I planted strawberries, broccoli, cabbage, Swiss chard, cauliflower, and more herbs. My raised gardens are now full, until I can harvest some veggies and plant the warm weather garden. Most things I planted are frost hardy, some I will have to cover if we get another cold spell. So happy to be back in the garden!

Skipped breakfast this morning. Worked 2 hours in garden, planting red potatoes, onions, kale, lettuce, romaine. Beautiful texture to soil! Snow always leaves it
lovely. Weeded iris bed. Walked through the orchard examining the trees; buds are filling out. Another week or two we will have blooms. Ate about 1:30 (ending 14 1/2 hr. fast). Lunch was leftover spinach, pork loin, keto black soy bean noodles stir fried with eggs, salsa for topping, pumpkin bread with butter, matcha green tea. Supper at 7:30 was salad, sunflower seeds, cottage cheese, keto English muffin, blueberries. Hubby is busy this week at county livestock show. FFA and 4H kids compete with their animals. He has been working with the broiler show for 35 years, ever since our boys showed their 4H projects.
