Haha. Wednesday I grabbed a McDonald’s burger for the hubby. When I got there he was a bit pale but had just broke down (equipment) so I assumed that was it and it was chilly. As he ate he complained of a headache, shakes, tummy didn’t feel right and he just felt crappy. Half an hour later he said he must’ve needed the food because he felt great and had energy again. Pretty sure it was the carbs and fat because when he grabs leftover meat he doesn’t say this. As for me, I’d gladly fake a faint for pizza haha.

I’ve been going low carbs, low sugar, low taste, yada-yada-yada for 11 days with NO cheating. I’ve had little energy to do anything but have pushed to keep going. Yesterday was my cheat day. Had a 3-4 oz piece of chicken that had been deep fried for lunch and for dinner I had a half of a small pizza (flatbread-like crust but beggars vs choosers) for dinner. It was DEVINE!!! Today I have so much more energy, it’s rather amazing. Back to the diet today...😕

Lynn, that doesn't sound like something I could maintain forever. If you can, more power to ya, but a diet doesn't do any good if you can't stick to it...for the rest of your life.

Lynn I agree with Lzen. Your diet sounds down right depressing! Is it the only one that seems to work for you?

nope too bland for me too, Lyn what kind of diet are you on?? you can have no sugar low carbs and enjoy a little more variety can't you??

Lynn, remember this needs to be a way of life. Dull and boring won't get you to your goal. And it certainly isn't sustainable. There are so many different ways of eating. Find something that will work and make you happy. Your energy level should be going up not down.

Chris I don't think she is keto or she would be eating meat and fish I have no idea what she is eating though low sugar is not no sugar so it could be just about anything

Lyn, there are so many healthy meal suggestions on fs. Pay attention to these people. They have been where we are now. There is no need to punish one's self.
