First entry here. Didn’t even know I could 😏. My weight has been slowly creeping up and it’s time to rein it in before it becomes a mountain to overcome. Hoping to meet my goal by 2nd week in Nov as I have a 50th birthday trip planned and only bringing 👙!! I may not get all of the way there but goals are good. Maintenance is the real work. I cut out Diet Coke and sugar (was ONLY drinking DC) and am hanging strong.
I don’t know what everyone does for diet plans but I am doing intermittent fasting and trying to keep to 1600 calories as well as limiting carbs and sugar. So far pretty successful and am pleased with results on the scale.
I have also gotten back to the gym as much as I can tolerate. I go probably 5 days a week for 45-60 minutes doing treadmill and bike or elliptical. 😰
I have a window of about 4 hours for eating...like 3-7p. That seems to be working well for me. Downside is that I have NO energy. I find myself laying down a lot and reading. Thoughts?
148.2 lb Lost so far: 8.8 lb.    Still to go: 13.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Increase your eating window. Small meals that are high in protein and complex carbohydrates are good sources of energy. Are you consuming an adequate number of calories? And, you may want to vary your workout. Try two days of weight lifting between your three days of cardio. You may want to keep your weight sessions to a Max of 30 minutes and cardio to 45.

you are doing the right thing. But maybe you need a few more carbs/calories if you are working out more. And is your body still adjusting to no caffeine from the DC? That takes me a while, to figure out how to live without caffeine.I was a drowsy mess.

Except for my not cutting out a diet coke habit, you are doing basically what i have been doing, and i was absolutely exhausted for the first few months. I think it was just a shock to my system both the reduction in calories in and the expenditure of calories out. Add a detox from diet coke, and it is a lot. You are doing everything you need to (at least it has been working for me). Just keep going and be kind and gentle with yourself. Welcome!

I do IT and tried to watch carbs, but if I go too much below 100 carbs... I am tired and cannot do my workout. If you workout as much as you say, you need carbs for the energy to sustain your workouts and beyond!
