Shanelle05's Journal, 21 June 2012

I am still at 234 lbs. I was 237 but I think that was just water weight. So I've technically been 234 for a month with absolutely no change. I've been exercising (not consistently), which I think is my problem. I've got to start exercising everyday. I've been plateaued at 234 for a month and I'm not sure how to move the scale. It's really starting to piss me off.

Shanelle- I was wondering if you have ever considered the Atkins diet? I was a 200 lbs when I went to see my doctor about all of the weight I had gained and he actually suggested trying Atkins- I went on Amazon and ordered a used book-only paid for shipping- and started reading. I have been on Atkins for 3 weeks now and I've lost 12 lbs already. I don't know if you're addicted to carbs, like me, but giving them up for 3 weeks was not that hard especially when my scale showed that I was actually losing for the firstime in years! The diet actually keeps you feeling full, not deprived like other diets. I hope you succeed in your weight loss and hope you consider Akins. Keep in touch-Heidi aka mommyx7

I don't think I could do low carb. Doesn't low carb mean no or low amounts of breads, grains and veggies? I couldn't do that. I want to try a lacto-ovo-pesca-vegetarian diet so I can't give up my veggies.
