I'm in P4 and a little carb-dabbling doesn't seem to matter. However I am staying low carb/keto in general. Doctor confirmed a few tiny gall stones with an ultrasound, btw. I'm going to be asking you how you did P2 and included some fat...

Gall stones, yuck! What's the treatment? I did about the same as the previous round, 10 lb, but ate 30g fat daily. It's called "HCG 3.0" or keto - assisted. Easier to take for people who eat keto, than the original protocol.

My take on it is that for the 3-6 weeks that we are not eating any fat, the gallbladder has no reason to empty its bile (which digests fat). The bile sits around and stones can crystallize out of the cholesterol in the bile. SO, non-fat dieting can contribute to the formation of stones. I also just found out that religiously taking vitamin C, as well as eating a little fat, can prevent all that.

I'm actually going to get religious about taking vitamin C to see if it will deal with the 8 or so tiny stone I have. I'll let you know in a few months. :D

I hope that works for the gallstones! I found out about HCG3.0 on HCGDietInfo and Netrition 's Low Carb Friends forum. Apparently there is also a Facebook group.
