Try using unrefined coconut oil on your scar tissue. I use it like lotion. Coconut oil is one of the few oils that our skin can obsorb. It will speed the healing and lessen the discoloration.

Thank you for the advice. What if these are old scars and old scar tissue. My surgery scar tissue goes back from a year for five years old.

My problem is I have so much scar tissue around my hips and my spine that crunches are so painful and putting pressure on my back. That’s why I am trying to work on my core strength cause before I started loosing weight I threw my back out almost every other month.

It will still help. I use it all over to help my skin. I'm a chef and am burning myself all the time. I just started using it a few years ago, and all of my burn scars have faded and some of the minor ones have disappeared.

It will also help add some of elasticity back to your skin even if it doesn't fade the scar.
