I lost 6 solid pounds since Jan.1st! I am so happy and so proud of myself because I haven't actually tried to do that by myself in years. I take glucosamine so that helps keep my joints limber, but eating right makes me feel like stretching in bed and doing isometric exercises with my stomach, buttocks and thigh muscles I haven't felt like doing in years! I have so much more fat to peel off my body so I look better, but in the meantime, I FEEL so much better and that is even more important than LOOKING better. There is so much fat on my face that it is hard to smile. I am looking forward to when I can see my cheekbones again. It is so pretty to not have a double chin, too. I have so much to look forward to if I just steadily lose 2 lbs. a week like I used to do on Weight Watchers. I feel great, I am optimistic I can continue trying to keep the calories to 1,000 cal. a day. I always goes over but that's ok. I am not a big meal eater, just a big dessert eater. Thank you fatsecret members for your support. There are so many of us! Peace...
I remember when I was 142 and wanted to be 135! Now I wish I were 142! I started at 170 january 1st of this year, very depressed that it would be so hard to lose weight by giving up my fave foods like cookies, candy and ice cream. Now that I have done it for 19 days, I don't feel so bad about the loss of those foods because I have gained control of my addiction to those foods. I have lost 6 lbs and I feel so much better.
