Today I could finally record a weight lose of 1 pound! It is sure taking me a lomg time. I try to do everything that i should. I follow the food plan do lots of exercise no snacking. I think maybe I should change plans. I am stuck and it is not fun! I went to the beverly hills weight loss center. When i got to a certain weight (125) my body did not want to let go of any more weight. They had a hard time making me get past that point. They increased my protein drinks. I am not sure how to do that on this plan. I will try to stick it out this month and see if it will drop.

I have a few questions. First are you reading and following the book...that right there is #1 priority...if you are just following someone's notes you may be misunderstanding the plan. #2 how much do you want to lose? how old are you? how tall are you? #3 Have you strictly adhered to phase 1? You have been on since Jan 4th and it is now Jan 19th, the first phase is for detoxing. If you really weren't filled with toxic crud, you won't really lose weight, phase 2 is the weight loss phase. You get to add a friendly carb or two and you will see weight loss on this phase. If you aren't on it, get on it. Lisa

Ok..find some info... you are 48 and a cyclist. Have you been working out still? When you go on phase 1, they suggest on 20 mins of moderate exercise as the carlories ingested aren't enough to sustain a rigorous exercise schedule. ALSO... being 48 and 124 is great!! You need to remember that your body is not the same as it was when we were in our 20's, you will lose weight slower especially if you are in peri-menopause or in menopause.

I agree with lisa 48 and 124 is great. What is your fat percentage? You may not have as much body weight to lose as you may think.

add whey shakes to your routine- you can have up to 2 a day. If i don't eat enough protein, i don't lose & you are a cyclist doing more exercise- so you probavly need more pritein & calories. Recipes are in the book- good luck!

I have the book and have been following it. I would like to lose 11 pounds. I was on a diet before this I got from BCBS(insurance)I lose 10 pounds on it pretty quick. I'm 5'4" My fat percent is 21. If my machine is reading correctly. Today I added the whey shakes. I keep getting an upset stomache. Is that part of the detox?

You can get an upset stomach. Try some apple cider vinegar you may just need to balance out the stomach acid and this can do the trick. Are you taking any suppliments? If so make sure not to take them on an empty stomach.

wait, i'm confused- were you getting upset tummy before the whey shakes? And what do you mean by upset stomach? Are you going to the ladies room more?Or do you feel pain? When exacytly does it get upset- after the flax seed, or with the cranwater? I need more details

I have been getting diarrhea every since i started this diet. I make sure not to take the suppliments on an empty stomach. It is all day long. I think it is the flaxseed. I probably went 25 times yesterday. The flaxseed is an important part of the diet so I don't know if I should stop using it or if maybe I just have to get used to it. Is it doing anybody else that way?

ok, that actually ius a good sign- yyour body is ridding toxins, etc. cut down on or don't take any extra magnesium if you're taking that, and maybe stop the flax twice a day and build up some tolerance to once a day, then add a little more each day till you can tolerate it.

I have cut back on the magnesium. It seems to hit me after lunch and it last until the next morning until around 5 am. I looked in the book about the ACV so I will be trying that. I read the book but sometimes all the information gets cofusing.

In the morning I do the psylium husks and then at night I take the flax seeds. Maybe try alternating these in the am and pm llc and see if your stools firm up.
