I worked out hard yesterday. Did the 30 day shred and walked for about 2 miles afterwards. I ate very well too. However, I got a little depressed because my weight went up so much that night. I kept telling myself it was muscle and not fat. I really do hope so and some changes start showing real soon

We all weigh more at night then in the morning. The morning after you wake up and go to the bathroom and before you eat or drink anything is usually a good time to gauge your weight loss. You need to pick one time and stick with that time every day or once a week. Your weight will fluctuate all day long. Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight gain. Our muscles also retain water to help them heal when working out so the scale can show a small gain from that sometimes. Fast food contains tons of sodium, so that can make the scale fluctuate. So can medications, stress and a whole bunch of other factors. Read the article for better understanding.

I never weigh myself at night. I always weigh myself first thing in the morning before eating or drinking and after my shower. There are times I weight almost 5 lbs more at night but the next morning, its saying I've lost weight for what I orginally was.
