Today I did a turkey wrap. I took my turkey and put bacon, lettuce and I mixed mayo with ranch season ( was not even a tsp) and wrapped it up. I made two. I brought a hard boil egg with me. This eating bacon and eggs is not sitting well with me. I still keep thinking that this can not be healthy but I read and everything says that this is ok. I think tomorrow i will skip the bacon. We did a family event this weekend and we stopped at Long Horns for dinner. I was thinking i am in so much trouble. But i was surprised what i ate and what my carb count ended up being. I never should have had the bread. But it is ok I tell myself. Just no more!
Sitting at my desk is the hardest for me. Even though I have so much work I feel the need to snack. I found a ginger candy in my draw and after looking up the carbs and sugars i put that bad candy in the garbage. That is a huge plus for me. Sugar addict here!
Water is my weakness. I must just keep making myself drink it! aggghhhh!

Bacon has 43 calories per slice, so it is ok to have one here and there. Try buying flavored water like ICE. Walmart has there own version and they are 1/2 the price and great. Keep things like nuts or pepitas at your desk and sugar free pudding is great. I love the Dulce de Leche pudding cups. Boars head turkey with a piece of cheese is a great snack. I have lost 77 pounds and it is possible. I have at least that still to go and it is a challenge daily to find new ways to eat and be healthy. But it is possible. Stay strong and motivated.

Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated. Wonderful on your achievement. Congratulation. I am doing low carb this time around so not paying to much attention to calories but trying to stay somewhere between 20 to 25 net carbs. My guys drinks the Walmart version of ICE. I dislike it. Water is a challenge but i am making myself stick to it.

@Ccfountain is right - it is a DAILY challenge. May I add... drink ONLY when you're thirsty, else the "water weight" will throw the scale off. Let me know how I might help... have had a little experience with Keto... and "some" limited success.

Bacon which is a real food induces ketosis and fuels your cells and helps your metabolism so have no fear learn to love water because the artificial sweeteners and chemicals in sugar free artificially flavored waters will do the opposite. I was a Diet Pepsi, then a fake flavored water person for decades. My organs and my bone density suffered. Don't do it.
