First day of South Beach. Did some meditation last night before bed and pictured myself a healthy machine. With everything working correctly and with lots of energy.

I was surprised when I did my food journal to find out how many calories almonds have in them. Maybe I'll just opt for something else as a snack.

I did yoga this morning. And I did some cardio on our gazelle this evening. I didn't watch any television and spent some time playing with my dogs.

Today was good day. Of course my scale didn't budge since yesterday, but I felt good about my choices. My only real challenge is finding South Beach Food that my husband will eat.

There are a ton of great recipes that even my hubby LOVES from making them "healthy". Let us know if there are particular meals that your hubby likes and we'll see if we can suggest how to make them healthy so the both of you will enjoy them. My hubby thinks he's died and gone to heaven with most of the recipes I make for him! LOL
