I'm starting to feel discouraged because I've only lost one pound this week and last week I had only lost 1.2 pounds. I'm trying to tell myself that it's still going down but I can't help but feel like it's not a good number. Two things I need to change this week: drink more water and exercise daily...I slipped up on both of these last week. Another thing I need to do is take my measurements because it's been a while.

First thing to learn about weight loss is any time the scale goes down, it's a good thing. All those smaller numbers add up to goal. Smaller numbers in the beginning just mean you aren't retaining a lot of water weight. So what your losing is more fat. As you go on, you may have weeks of bigger losses and weeks where you gain. Stay consistent! Stay on plan! Get active! Drink water! Do what your supposed to do and it will come off. Patience and persistence!

My favorite saying to myself is: " If you work the plan, the plan will work for you." And it's true. Weigh all of your meals, and if you are away, and can't weigh, just do a good eyeball of your lean and green and get all of your MF meals in. Do not punish yourself. Your weight chart is amazing and moving in the right direction. The downward trend is what it's all about.
