Yesterday I ate really well for breakfast and lunch but blew it with dinner. My son wouldn't go to sleep and was screaming so I couldn't get dinner done and I ended up taking him on a car ride to calm down and fall asleep so I just stopped and got some McDonald's. I need to stop doing that. UGH. I need to learn to just have a small snack around 5 and then after he goes to sleep around 6:30 then I can make something to eat. Or I need to learn how to keep him entertained while I make dinner, but right before bed is his fussy time.

Yeah, this is tough when they are little, but just know that it is a phase and it will pass soon enough. Maybe try some crock pot recipes to make dinner time easier. You could also try a protein shake. Otherwise, it always helps to keep some fruit and veggies chopped up, portioned out and ready to eat in the fridge. That should get you by until 6:30. How old is your little guy now?

Those are really great suggestions, thanks! I will go stock up on fruit and veggies. My problem is I don't cut them right away and so when I want to eat them I have to cut them and I don't want to so I just grab chips instead. I need to get better at cutting them up right away. My son will be 11 months on the 9th!
