How do you know when you've formed a good habit? When you forget to set your alarm yet you still wake up at 5:15 on the dot to get up and go to the gym and even though you could've easily said "It's Friday, roll over and go back to sleep," you get up and go anyway because you've already prepared your gym bag and cooked your breakfast and lunch ahead of time the night before.
I was talking with coworkers yesterday kind of just saying in passing that my arms were definitely going to be sore from my workout and one coworker said, "You are SO disciplined! I don't know how you do it!" Then another asked me how working out before work became a habit I was able to keep up with... and I didn't really know what to say besides just keep doing it until it becomes your normal. Made me feel good to have coworkers (who are all healthy eaters and gym goers and originally inspired me to join the gym) complimenting me and asking me about my workouts. It's Friday and I'm feeling good!
