My cherry fixation has gotten to the point that I even looked up cherry addiction online. I have seriously been eating 1-2 pounds of them almost daily. Thank goodness they are only in season for a short time. LOL

I am loving them as a bedtime snack. I use 1 cup with pits, measured and 1 cup lactaid fat free milk as an evening snack. i will keep eating them until they go out of season, then reach for frozen.

Think this is a first for me...heard of lots of addictions but never cherries! There are certainly worse things....enjoy them, they will soon be out of season....

Yeah...high in carbs, but at least they have health benefits and will be out of season soon. I just keep reminding myself that I didn't get fat by eating fruit. LOL. I will say that they had donuts and an ice cream social at work this week and I wasn't even tempted so I have that going for me...which is nice...:P

I've heard tart cherries reduce inflammation. Regular cherries? Probably lots of antioxidants so maybe your body is craving something in them besides the sugar-or could be it is the sugar.
