Mowing the lawn and gardening are wonderful and practical forms of exercise; thanks for posting the results!

OOO those roses! Happy Gardening, Phil! Your season is so far ahead of ours, but we have had a lovely long spring up here with little heat and lots of spring flowers. The mountain laurel, columbine and iris are in bloom now.

Hi Phil Roses are one of my wife's favorite flowers. Did you know you can eat the pedals both raw and cooked. Looks so much better than a plate of noodles.

Seriously, Fred4win? Rose petals are edible? Do different colors taste different?

Nice looking flowers, Phil! What with the rain, rain, rain, and mow, mow, mow, you must live in, or near, western WA!

We've been working on our yard for over ten years but for everything we've gotten established and thriving there are probably 100 things we want to get started. Thanks for the tip, Fred, you've always got good comments and suggestions, brother! Tai-Lin, I live in sub-tropical East Texas, we average about seventy inches of rain a year here. lol Zone 8, bordering Zone 9, we can grow pretty much year-round.
