Today is Valentines Day and all I can think about is what I cannot eat. why is it so hard for me to lose weight and for others it's mindless? I now feel Oprah's pain.... It's like we are not allowed down time , becasue it all crashes. I am so ready to give up... Ugh

I don't think it's "mindless" for anyone! Everyone has to work at this. Don't give up! You can totally do this. Don't think of what you can't eat, think of what you CAN eat. (I forget who said this the other day--, someone on FS.) This is 90% ABOUT YOUR HEAD. Think again about WHY you want to lose this weight, make a small goal for yourself. BAby steps, baby steps. If you want to celebrate today then pick one treat you really want and plan all of your healthy food for tomorrow.

You can do it polarbear!!! Don't give up!! Allow yourself a couple of planned treats each week (within reason) if it helps you stay on plan. Focus on positive things like how good it feels to fit in to a smaller size. If you don't exercise and can, start. It allows you to eat more and still lose. You have to find a balance with eating, because you will have to watch your weight the rest of your life to keep it off. It's okay to occasionally go off plan and have fun. As long as you get back to eating healthy and exercising. All the hard work is worth it in the end. Good luck!

Girl hush! I viewed your profile and see u want to lose about 15 lbs and I am trying to take off 70 and I still will be far from your starting weight! But I feel your pain. Just think, if you stick with it you will probably be at your goal by Memorial day and that is more important than any cheeseburger or cupcake. But really, u can eat some things you want just use portion control. Drink more water so u will feel fuller and can't over indulge. Also I allow myself about 1 cheat day a week and then try to do really well the other 6 days and I am still losing. Also try to add up whatever extra calories u eat and burn that extra thru exercise. Just don't give up! You can do it and when u do u will feel and look wonderful!

Thank you so much everyone. I wake up with good intentions every morning and by the end of the day i fail. It is hard to to achive when you are not getting the support from family at home... My husband think counting calories is for the "birds" and he said that when he is ready to lose his weight it will take him about a month without effort. I know I have to make baby steps but, I will have to remove myself from the family because they are not on a mission as I am. My son complains that he is losing weight because I cook only healthy meals and my husband is an all carbs man... and the beat goes on... thanks again everyone!
