OK..bigtime cheat yesterday. (102 carbs)
I'm OK with it, but I'm getting right back to it today. I'll reduce my net carbs to 20 for the rest of the week to try to make up for the cheat. Positive side is I don't believe that anything I cheated with had HFCSs in them, so not quite as bad as going to McDonalds or anything.
One thing that I noticed is that I didn't eat a LOT yesterday, and my calorie count jumped up to 3200. Its amazing how sugar jacks up your calorie count. We all hear about fat being the culprit of high-calories, BUT sugar is the one that jacks it up.

Well Denise, as you would say to anyone else: just get right back into and don't beat yourself up over it. You have done such a wonderful job. Everybody needs to be cut some slack from time to time.

Thanks. This is a classic case of once you make a bad decision, they just get easier and easier.
I had 2 hours to waste, so I stopped by Chilli's for an Iced tea. They don't have ANY carb friendly appetizers on the menu, so I chose the one that I thought was the best...Hindsight..I would have been better with one of the other ones..
Then when I met family for dinner, it was much easier to eat the sourdough bread (only 1 piece though), and really easy to try the carrot cake my sister got.
I will say that The Keg has the BEST carrot cake I've ever eaten.

Did you enjoy yourself? Was it worth it?

Family visiting..always enjoy that...but with the exception of the 4 bites of the most incredible carrot cake, the cheating wasn't worth it.

Isn't that funny? We break down for stuff that doesn't even make us feel good. But today is another beautiful day.
