I am so happy I found this group. I typically do not share my life in any type of group or social media. It feels really good to be here and have all the support of the members. I see that there are many wonderful people here that share their daily thoughts and routines, their ups and downs, and realize that in this world we are all so much alike. Thank you to all of you for being here and sharing your lives with me. That's all. :)

You and I are possibly the last two people in the US who do not FaceBook!

Tamara, I totally agree with you. It is so nice to have supportive people who are overcoming just like me, at times the struggles are really tough and I really rely on even just reading other posts to boost me up and get me over a hump.

Rarely for me.

Yes, this is more authentic sharing, less posturing and more openness. Of course we share a common purpose and goal.

I do use facebook but not like most people that I know do. I have family all over the US and it is one way to keep up with everyone. People have turned it into a gossip and shaming site. I don't have time for all of that nonsense. But I do love to see pictures of my family. I like to sit down at my computer and see what everyone has been doing. Everyone is so busy.

I FACEBOOK a little, until BS happens! I was almost kicked off a KETO blog for posting my recipe that included "TRUVIA"! God Forbid! It was so fitting, after I posted one time about searching recipes (at work, no-no I know) and Truvia.com was blocked on the government servers as "illegal drugs"! But the taste and baking qualities mandated Truvia (that's what my wife said)! Some stevias are SOOO bitter!

@rontravis That is so "facebook" I joined some local groups and it is the same BS all the time. And it has just become so negative. So I just focus on my family. :)

I've had a moderate amount of experience with Keto/low-carb pages on facebook. Some are ok, but most of them have a resident douche bag (or several) that try to monopolize all the conversations, feel threatened by new comers, and close ranks into a high school style clique if anyone disturbs their established pecking order. The Atkins forums are worse, Don Friedbrain can still KMA for the drama he allowed to ensue. The only page I still follow is Jimmy Moore's, for whatever that's worth.
