I am so happy I found this group. I typically do not share my life in any type of group or social media. It feels really good to be here and have all the support of the members. I see that there are many wonderful people here that share their daily thoughts and routines, their ups and downs, and realize that in this world we are all so much alike. Thank you to all of you for being here and sharing your lives with me. That's all. :)

Well I said I wasn't going to weigh in until I get my new scale but I went to visit my bestie this morning and she has a digital scale so I hopped on and nearly fell off.....so I hopped on again and it was real.....I lost another 5 lbs this week. I have been so worried about every carb I eat but I have been eating whole food, not processed and I think it has made a world of difference.
Weighing and measuring everything and being aware of what I am eating has also helped I believe.
I cannot tell you all how happy I am right now.

Diet followed reasonably well

Today I ordered a new scale and blender. The scale I have is really old and I want to make sure that my weigh ins are accurate. So I will do my next weigh in after I receive my new scale.
There are so many good recipes that call for a blender. I am trying to keep my carbs down, but I am not having such good luck with that. I ate 2 small buttermilk biscuits and didn't look at the nutritional guide on the wrapper until after I ate them. 21g in 2 little biscuits.....ugh
I also find it a bit challenging...ok very challenging when my husband eats all the carbs he wants. So I am making food to keep him happy and dying a little on the inside while cooking.....I am sure I am not the only one here who deals with this.

I have developed a cold so there is not too much going on today. I'm moving like a sloth.

After a few crazy days I am getting back on track with my "New Me" lifestyle change. After cheating for 2 days and having birthday and Wedding cake, I didn't like how I felt physically. I think after only putting real food in my body and detoxing from processed food, I was feeling sick and low on energy. So I will be sticking to this healthy change.
My first challenge starts in a few days and I am looking forward to it.
