Classiclady's Journal, 09 January 2010

I have been doing well all week. I was even challenged with an event in my first week. The hospital I work in has just completed the new addition and the dedication was last night. Needless to say there was a huge array of foods. My weakness is sweets and wow did they have em. I had shrimp a couple of small bite size appetizers and instead of loading up on sweet which is what I would have done I chose one small piece to try and enjoy. I counted all of this as supper. Had a protien shake at home. I journaled everything and found I did not really go that far above plan. I woke up this morning and weighed I have lost 7lbs total and I am feeling good not deprived. YES!
257.2 lb Lost so far: 6.8 lb.    Still to go: 107.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Great job! Be very proud of yourself :) Treat yourself to something, but not food. New clothes, shoes, earrings, perfume, something small that you like. I find it helpful to teach myself I can reward myself with lots of things other than food. Seems like you are doing a great job!
