Thanks guys for all of the support! Yes yes, new pictures are in order, but not right now...I come in from work and have to put on my farming gear and go help hubby in the fields, we are in the middle of planting a few acres of annual rye grass and crimson clover for the Moos Brothers to eat this winter. When we get done with one section I look like someone dumped a bucket of muddy water on me. This would be much easier if we had a working tractor, but it's down and we can't wait for the repairs to be done before we get this going. Thank goodness he got the ground broke up before it went tits up. So we are spreading seeds and covering them by hand with rakes...UGH...I HAVE BLISTERS!!!!!!!!

Wow, that's great Steven! I am assuming that 200 is your final goal? When I knock these two pounds off and ACTUALLY finally complete a goal for the first time in my weight loss history, I am going to reset my goal to 160. According to all of the charts, I am SUPPOSED to weigh 132-135 pounds for my height and frame, however, I look like an anorexic crackho at that weight. Right now I am carrying around an extra 52 pounds, I am going to trim that down to an extra 25 pounds and keep it there. I like my curves and I like the extra insulation in the winter :). I feel great, I look healthy and hopefully this winter I can get some of this loose skin to tighten up. For some reason, I do better with weight loss in the fall months. Usually from September to Christmas I am unwavering and focused. Autumn is my favorite time of year and it makes me feel invigorated and alive. January (my birth month) usually brings on the winter blahs and fighting SAD (Seasonal Affected Disorder). I'm hoping that being smaller and more active may make a difference this coming winter...we shall see!

Soaking them in cool water with a few drops of lavender, chamomile, geranium and tea tree oils Kes, eases the sting, kills bacteria and speeds healing..also smells lovely :)

Hi again Debra...in answer to your question, my best guess is between 200 to 208 will be my final set weight...we'll see though. I'm fairly thin fat wise right now but I am not carrying as much muscle In my legs and shoulders compared to mid ski season form. I could probably go lower but it would take a LOT more dedication and strict effort on both the diet and exercise/training fronts to maintain strength and endurance at a lower BF%....pretty sure I'm not up for that. Like yourself, I feel life's a balance...curves are very Ok as long as one feels good about themselves and health and quality of life is optimized!!

Good luck also on your winter program Debra...find something fun to do that involves the outdoors (walking, hiking?) and it will make a huge difference. My best friend's dad is 92 and still skates at the local outdoor speedskating oval twice a week (indoor when it's really cold)...he easily passes for someone in his early seventies.
