so...i've been losing inches...but not weight...everybody says i LOOK like i've lost weight...but the scale hasn't moved and my pants are getting looser...

The scale is only one measure of weight loss. How your clothes fit (loss of fat/inches) is another. I had a friend who didn't see the scale move for months but she went down 4 sizes. Just stick with it. The scale will catch up.
