my blood sugar would most likely plummet! I can do a 500 calorie /day, if its not too often, but other than that..... I'm afraid to!

kp, good for you. Sometimes it's nice to not have to think about what you're going to eat and when. When you have a set fasting time you can just go with it...

I'm doing okay. I feel a little cloudy or in a dream state. I understand why religions have embraced fasting for centuries. There is almost an unreal floating feeling, like I'm an observer to my world. Strange to say the least.

Becca, I was thinking I may have broth on Sunday around noon and 5pm, maybe a cup before 8pm with a salad? I think I'll aim for 1000kcal the day after (Monday) and I have a 500 kcal day scheduled for the Tuesday. back to regular 1600 kcal on Wednesday.

Honestly, okay. It's the normal hunger level. I used to hate being hungry, almost afraid of that feeling, but I'm learning to accept it as a normal part of the day. It's never overwhelming the way it used to be. It's my understanding that my hormones are regulating better which causes a more rational hunger, if you will. I'm mostly tired and introspective.

"I used to hate being hungry, almost afraid of that feeling". YES, you hit the nail on the head for me. Since giving up my coconut oil early morning I have sometimes been hungry. Not starving. BUT had a FEELING and couldn't put my finger on it. Hungry, but what was the FEELING! FEAR! Fear of feeling hungry and binging, fear of feeling hungry and then feeling sooo hungry, overeat. Fear that I wouldn't be able to control myself. It is hard to deal with something when you can't identify it! This is why I love reading others experiences. THANK YOU!
