Unless it's a donut... then it's definitely my problem lol. A new and improved way for dieters to look at their relationship with food. So much of this process is teaching ourselves how to properly care for our bodies. You would be amazed at how many morbidly obese individuals are actually severely malnourished. Quality food is definitely the solution. Thanks for sharing the thought. Have a great day, and as always thank you for your constant support!

So well said. And Yolanda -- I'm learning that once you really take control of your relationship with food, not even a donut is the enemy. I was so proud of myself at Mardi Gras, when I ate two Polish filled donuts our bakery has only the day before Lent starts, and instead of those donuts starting a downhill landslide (of course they made me sick because I shouldn't eat wheat or dairy) -- it was just a one-snack, one-day aberration, and I was back on my plan immediately. In fact, those donuts were actually part of the plan. I had planned for and anticipated them for weeks! I consider this as much a victory as the weight I have lost. After all, we live in a world with far more people who eat donuts than the number of them who snack on carrots.

I would like to monitor my bodyfat and take these caliper measurements. It is interesting to me to watch all of these readings.

so basically what you are saying is it's not a good idea to go 3 straight days without eating? hmmm i wonder if this will fall on deaf ears yet again.

@alone4ever78: Well, I can't comment on the folks who choose to fast for whole days with just coffee or fluids. I do intermittent fasting which just means I eat between 1:00pm and 9:00pm. I drink Bulletproof Coffee in the morning which has almost 400 calories to start the day. I do think folks need to do what they believe best works for them.

Totally agree with HCB. I am in ketosis and on IF the 8/16 regime and it works perfectly for me. However if I feel really hungry - which is very seldom, I eat some fatty stuff like avo in between. Otherwise just coffee and water. On day 8 of IF
