RinaBee's Journal, 24 February 2016

I had four chicken drumsticks for dinner last night. One more than I usually have. I also had 2 pieces of Fran's salted caramel chocolates (those are very small). I hardly had any carbs through the day though. Breakfast was non-fat yogurt, lunch was a smoothie, snacks were almonds and banana and I had kale with my chicken last night. My weight has not gone down, but it hasn't gone up either. I reduced my almonds from 1/2 cup to 1/4 cup. Haha - big changes!

Non-fat yogurt is almost all carbs, smoothie is almost all carbs, banana is all carbs. Aside from the chicken and kale, the almonds are the only thing redeeming you ate and you're reducing them?

Like Gennybehar said, it looks like you still ate a lot of carbs. :( The non-fat yogurt was likely sweetened with carbs (sugar) and depending on what you put in the smoothie, it may have had carbs too. Unfortunately, the average banana has about 24 net carbs alone. But the almonds and kale are pretty low carb in small doses! :)

I suggest you look closely as well. Carbs are carbs, so if you are hoping for low carbs - review the plan. You could eat more protein and healthy fats - especially because you have so little weight to lose. Good luck.

Have you tried the 100 calorie Greek yogurt, I have it for breakfast and lunch...less sugar...still great protein....You are doing great by logging your food to see what works for you...Stay Healthy!!!
