Too much Sugar.....for the past week I have been eating a lot of flavor yogurt, which someone pointed out how much sugar is in each container. I am a believer that sugar is evil as the more we eat the more we want. However, I have been able to lose 7 pounds in 5 days eating this way...3 -4 containers a day....I have been satisfied which has resulted in non cheats... I like having yogurt for breakfast and lunch as I am so tired of EGGS and one at night as a dessert...I would like to work toward eating the straight yogurt, but to me it has such little appeal...no sugar and I am not a fan of artificial sweeteners!! My question to you is does anyone else eat yogurt and when is it too much of a good thing???

I am amazed that you have lost that much while still eating that much yogurt. I wouldn't want to look a gift horse in the mouth, however, do you think that you can sustain weight loss while continuing to eat yogurt like that?

I was eating so much more sugar before logging my food and getting serious...this is a significant reduction for me, so I don't know if this is the reason for the loss...while whole foods is a much better choice...sometimes we need choices that will satisfy and fast....I am going to continue to log and watch what works and make changes when it doesn't...

I can't eat cheese, yogurt, or drink milk. All either contains lactose sugar or casein protein, which I'm allergic to. Only milk byproduct I can consume is pure butter, which has neither casein or lactose sugar. Speaking of eggs, I just ate a bunch of quail eggs. I'd prefer quail eggs over chicken eggs because they contain a bit more omega-3 to omega-6 ratio and more nutrient density (the yolk is bigger than the eggwhite, which means it contains more brain nourishing nutrients). Also, they're basically the popcorn chicken of the egg world. I just ate 20 quail eggs, plus quail eggs are more organic than chicken eggs.
