I forgot to put my fitbit on this morning for the first time since I got it in June...I feel naked! Can't believe I did that.
Tonight is the first of a couple Christmas parties. Last night I made some pinwheel wraps to take using low carb tortillas, cream cheese, veggies, cheddar cheese and black forest ham. We'll also probably bring a veggie tray. My plan is to enter the items I'll eat of what I'm bringing into my food diary in advance and leave some room for extra stuff, but I'll have the calorie allotment of the extras in mind and evaluate calories/composition of anything else in advance of eating it. Also I'll have a salad with some protein for dinner that'll be filling but low in calories so I'm not hungry when I get to the party. No alcohol will be there which is a plus. Was telling my wife last night I have to think this out and plan ahead to avoid setting myself back, I'd really like to lose a few more pounds before Christmas. TGIF - have a great Friday!

Sounds like a great plan! You definitely can lose more before Christmas just make sure you don't eat too many calories during the parties. Log everything you eat and cut down on the following days if needed. You got this!

Sounds perfect, JMB. My party tips: Only eat what fits on a small party plate (and no refills!) and always carry a glass of water around to sip from.

Entering food in after the party, went over by around 300 calories, not too terrible. Had to have some whiskey cake though! Adjusting tomorrow and will weigh in Sunday.

Wow - you did great at the party!

Thanks HCB, but I didn't do as good as I thought, am up 3 lbs this morning. Water weight but still frustrating. So today will be fasting until dinner and drinking lots of water to flush.

I am learning it is WHAT we indulge on - the extra sodium alone will bloat me up!
|
Hope you had a good time and didn't indulge to much
