YOH, When I make my protein/fiber shakes, I add a tbsp of Hershey's Special Dark chocolate Cocoa powder...unsweetened of course and a tbsp of PB2 Pure and a few drops of stevia extract. That takes care of both my cravings for chocolate and peanut butter. I put a tbsp of ground chia seeds and a tbsp of ground flaxseeds in there too, fills me up for the morning. The craving for bread-type items and or warm comfort foods is diminished but not eliminated by the addition of beans. I cook mine from dried and I don't add salt, but I do put a sprinkle of No-Salt on them before eating...that's pure potassium and to me it makes it taste salty. I can use every little bit of extra potassium I can get.

Don't think it's related to actual pacemaker. I'm doing well with that. In fact Drs are impressed with how quickly I'm healing and able to get back to my fitness schedule. It could be surgery related though. ( if that makes sense) I don't know what a toll it may have taken in my body. I'm 6 weeks post op today. It could also be something else completely. I have Hashimotos ( thyroid autoimmune disease) and the stress of surgery etc could've triggered that..who knows but I'm discouraged. ( see my new post) I'm posting my frustrations to journal them in hopes it will remind me to get back on track..🩷
