Based on your diet calendar, it looks like you spent several days with verrrry low calories (30% to 60% of your listed RDI). Over the past few days, it looks like you have been hitting more consistent numbers, closer to your calorie count. Maybe you had a higher intake of calories than was tracked, but those big differences with intake can cause weight fluctuation.

No, those really low days are accurate. I had a few days where I was either too busy to eat or in a position where eating would have meant cheating, so I chose not to eat. But the past few days, I've really tried to be consistent, make time, etc. I'm frustrated with doing everything right with no reward.

My husband has been out of town for two weeks. I really wanted to be under 200 by the time he comes home tomorrow. Unless I sever a limb, it's not gonna happen. :(

Holy cannoli woman you lost 11 pounds in a month. Ive been losing a pound a week and thought I was fine. 11 pounds is awesome and I dont think anyone here would disagree. The only suggestion i would make is to try to be a little more consistent with calories every day so you feel better but yikes you are losing fine.

I know it's frustrating when you don't lose at the rate you'd like, but if I can say so, remember to keep focused on the big picture. You've lost 11 lbs in just over 3 weeks. That is fantastic, and also a pretty fast rate to drop weight. It's inevitable that the rate of loss will slow down, we usually lose more quickly at the beginning. You're doing great and what you have been doing is working. I'd suggest just keeping on with your plan, and be careful not to restrict yourself too severely or eat too few calories. Lasting success in this game is over the long term so keep hanging in there. Realistically, a 2lb fat loss over a weeks time is great progress and just that takes some work and dedication. Wishing you great continued success!

I second what nicholaix and jmb3450 said---11 pounds in less than a month is fantastic! My advice would be to make sure you are setting realistic goals for yourself. We would hate to see you severing your limbs! :)

That's true. I hadn't thought about it from that perspective. Thank you! My limbs are very safe, I promise!

You are doing excellent. I know that once you get on Atkins and you drop a lot in the very first week, you get frustrated when the rate slows. But it's just normal. The healthy average drop should be 1 to at most 1.5 lbs a week, if you want the weight to come off and STAY off. Did you do the measuring thing? A lot of times the scale doesn't move for a while while your measurements shrink, it's the fat being replaced by muscle. You must keep a journal and measure weekly: neck, waist, hips, upper arm, lower arm, wrist, thigh, calf, ankle. Those are also numbers that you will need to calculate your fat %. If you keep it consistent with the recommended RDI, fat/protein/carb ratio, under 20 g netcarbs of which 12-15 g from foundation vegetables, the necessary minimum of 6 x 8 oz glasses of water a day and 7 hours of sleep, you will get there slowly. Remember that if you lose weight too fast, for one, you will get loose skin as the skin needs time to adjust and shrink back, And for two, it is a known fact that if you lose weight too fast, when you get off the weight-loss diet you put it back on rapidly. Too many have fallen for this. Make sure you calculate your RDI for the medium weight loss of 1 lb/week (see, even FS is telling you what the healthy number is!) and stick to your guns. There will be days in which the scale won't budge, but you are not in a stall unless 3-4 weeks pass in which there is no movement. For some the weight loss goes faster, for some slower. But just keep in mind, 11 lbs in a little over 3 weeks! that is fantastic!

You look like you are losing fine. You ate super low calorie and then added in more calories. So the scale is going to bounce around, lol! Maybe try eating 1500 a day for a week and see what happens. Stay hydrated. Get plenty of protein and be active.

After about a month on my journey on Atkins I stalled for an entire month, then started losing again. I think the body wants to see if we are serious! But do try to have healthy snacks on hand for those times you cannot eat. I try not to get to the point of being hungry because then its easier to overeat or eat the wrong thing. But I think after a couple months I just normally want to eat less. Atkins bars in my purse seem to work wonders when I can't get to food!

dorindam, I know, right? My body looks like it's permanently testing me. If you look at my weight loss calendar, it's like - a whole month nothing nothing nothing - three weeks 10 lbs loss - then another month stall stall stall... but overall, I lost 34 lbs in 7 months which averages to a little bit over 4 lbs a month, thus 1 lbs a week, which is the healthiest way of losing weight and keeping it off. Seems a lot overall, it's just that it seems to be moving slow as heck for us.

Try the Libra app. It neutralizes the effect of day to day changes in bowelcontent, effects of salty foods etcetera AND it gives you a prognosis for your future weight, based on a statistical analysis of your numbers.

Perhaps GOOGLE and article titled, "Hy the Scale Lies" and you will learn fluctuations are normal. Also you may want to weight only one time per week.
