So drinking water isn't usually a problem for me. However, sometimes I do get bored drinking the same thing over and over again. So after seeing some chatter from a woman who lost over 62 lbs. and used Splenda, I thought perhaps my own use of Truvia could be used in a similar way. She was adding Splenda to her lemon water to make lemonade. I liked that idea, but what I really crave is tropical punch drink sometimes. I really like my fruit juices, but have walked away from them all because of the high sugar content. Well it dawned on me today to use unsweetened Kool-Aid drink mix with my truvia to make a fabulous drink that I could use sometimes in place of just water. It turned out wonderful! The only down side is the dye because food coloring tends to make me hyper and sometimes gives me headaches. But even the store bought fruit punches with all the sugar has the same effect on me. At least this way I don't have to deal with all the calories!
