I started the 5:2 program April 4 2015 when my weight had risen to 102.3 I am aiming for 72 kg and have dropped just over 10 kg since I started.
Only 2 days of 500 Kcals is not helpful enough for me. I often do 4:3. However, this last week I was not able to do 3 days.
This is the best program for me. It really works because 500 Kcal days are still days with enough food to satisfy. Then the portions I have on the other days has improved by getting down to the correct reduced size. I stick to the program because I now scientifically and in detail know the benefits my body gleans each time I hold it to 500 kcals. CF and I are doing it together and that helps as well. It is not gimmicky and the food is real, and processed by our little hands.
