Did really well yesterday - had to figure out dinner so I would not go over points. Should I plan my whole day for points? How do some others plan or not plan meals?

I have some breakfasts and lunches that I like and pick one of these so that I will have about 5 or 6 points for dinner - then depending on how much I have at the end of the day, I will load up my plate with veggies and meat first, and have the starch if I have the points, so that I can cook for the family and not eat a separate meal.

Sunshine, I am always planning out my whole day and usually the next one also. I usually eat one of several things for breakfast, I allow no more than 5 points for breakfast, depending on whether I drink one of my milks at that time. Lunch is also pretty basic at 5 or so points, with a point allocated for morning and afternoon snack and then that leaves me with 9 points for dinner. I may save something for dinner to eat as an evening snack, usually a fruit, yogurt or vita top muffin. I find that not planning gets me into trouble. I have the 35 extra points every week in reserve and I try not to use them, just my choice to help me lose faster.
Good luck and always eat a good breakfast.
