Today's my goal day. I started on 3/18, so 114 days to lose 29 pounds. All I did was eat less and move more. It really was that simple. I counted calories both directions (eating/burning), knowing 3500 calories = 1 pound. One thing I did and will continue is to stay between 600-800 calories before dinner. That way I could eat a normal meal and rarely go to bed feeling hungry. I also cut out most processed meals, and make sure not to drink calories. I eat fruit instead of sugar snacks, no chips... It sounds boring, but it really hasn't been. When I really want something, I have it and stay honest about tracking. Often I'll walk a couple extra miles and make it up that way. I don't claim to be an exercise or nutrition expert, but this is what helped me, and it's a lifestyle that's pretty easy to live with. Maybe something here will help someone else reach their goal. I hope so.
