Very sad and depressed today. probably going to stress-chew 30 packs of gum so i don't turn to food for comfort.

Oh gosh hope you can get thru it. I have a motto - If I can't fix it -screw it. And then I had a very wise oncologist- He told me I had only 10 minutes every day to worry about everything that could happen to me and then I had to let it go. Very true! You got this!

When I am really stressed I do breathing exercises. Fill your lungs with air while breathing in through your nose, then pucker your lips like you’re going to whistle, and then slowly breath out with resistance. As long as you are taking longer to breath out than it takes to breath in, this will be very effective. This tells your brain to create hormones to help calm you down. It helped me quit vaping, so give it a try and I hope it helps you too ☺️

thank to all sooo incredibly much. the support from this group is overwhelming in the best possible way! 🥰 I got to spend a few hours with my babies after work, before hitting the pool! the only food casualties were a cinnamon roll, protein bar and a bag of fritos 🤣 NO GUM SURVIVED

Sorry you were having a sad day! For me on those days, I make sure to include walks (sunshine therapy) and I make my homemade SF dark chocolate unsweetened cocoa, stevia, and coconut oil candy. Kimchi also helps me think clearer. Sounds weird but I swear my those 3 things, they help my depression! Hope today is better for you! Prayers! :)
