The most magical of all the aspen groves we saw yesterday. Trying to get as many hikes in as possible while the weather holds. We were out on the trail just shy of 3 hours

This looks beautiful. SoCal has very few regular trees (mostly palms & evergreens), so we miss the leaves turning, and then we don't get Autumn until December. More hiking photos, please!

Enjoy the colors, losingtowin! We went out again today for over 3 1/2 hours. Exhausted. Glad my husband still has enough steam in the tank to cook dinner. JustBananas -- I'll try to oblige 😊 We didn't take many today.

There was a lot of these 'White Birch' in my backyard when I was young and they disappeared. Thanks for the photo :-)

Were they actually birch, LivinBreezy? Or were they misidentified aspens? We had birch trees where I grew up. The two species have a lot of similarities
