I'll be going on vacation for a week to Florida soon. Does anyone have any tips you can give me to keep up with my weight loss or atleast maintain my weight till I get back. I am really worried about over doing it, because we are going to be away from home and eating with others that arent dieting. Please help. Thanks!

The best thing you can do is try to maintain. If you go out to dinner a lot, eat a light protein packed breakfast and lunch. They will keep you more full. Then you can have a nice dinner. Stop eating when you are satiated. If people have dessert, take a couple of bites (the first bite tastes like the last). Get in lots of walking and physical activity (swimming, walking on the beach, etc.) Have fun and if you gain a couple of pounds, remember you can take them off when you get home.

could you eat a salad when you go out to eat? seafood is low in fat. for snacks i like trail mix or even fruit especially berries. if you have to give into a temptation you can always split it with someone. I don't know if this helps, but good luck. i wish you all the best.

Remember one thing - 'Nothing tastes as good as fitting into a smaller dress'...
That always helps me order the healthiest thing on the menu when I go out!

Thanks Suzi, Lori and Shubhika! I appreciate your comments. I'm working on losing 5 more pounds till I leave in 7 days and just try to maintain like Suzi said. That's really the best I can do. Cause I definately dont expect to lose anything, haha. But that's ok. It's not like I go on vacation every month. My husband and I will be celebrating our 3rd anniversary, so I might have a 'bite' of a sweet treat that night. Thanks for all your support and encouragement!! Good luck to you all!!
