I seem to be in a sort of plateau right now. My weight hasn't been moving the way it was before. It's not going up but it not going down either. I say this after really "feeding" last night. I find that on days 1 and 5 of my split I get super hungry so i eat a lot more. These are the "leg" and "back" days when I'm working the big muscles (squats and deadlifts) - basically the whole body.. I can see the differences in the mirror where my upper torso is getting more defined and I'm even getting definition in my quads. Funny thing is that I haven't seen any movement in the tape around my waist - although I do do see a two pack emerging...I guess first on last off really applies to me. Disappointing because I was hoping for better gains in that department... The other problem has been that I'm so tired and my legs are so fried after squats that I can't do any cardio the next day (thank you ibuprofen) and also that my son L has been up at night so no-one's getting any decent sleep and I'm doing my workouts at 6:00 am. I do find that my body's recovery is much better now and the shoulder pain that I was having before is way down than it was before. The weights that I'm lifting are hugely increased so I'm obvoiusly building muscle. I'm taking a creatine supplement and that seems to be helping in muscle recovery, I'm hoping that I'll be able get back into the cardio soon. On top of that I'm taking vit D, vit B12. All in all I'm enjoying being back in the gym and my new lifestyle!

I'm still going for my target of having a six pack by Nov this year...
