rdrd1003's Journal, 16 June 2009

This week and weekend I have been out of the loop. I miss everyone! My stepson is playing all stars baseball and they are going 5 days a week to tournaments or either practice. It's really busy right now and this doesn't allow me time to record anything much less think about it. My youngest who is 14 starts boxing tonight on top of my stepson with baseball. Phew!!!!! But it's all good, them first and their dreams first. Plenty of time for us later. I will squeeze in as much as I can. We only have 1 more week of All Stars then that's it unless we win and go to state, but that is not looking like that is going to happen.
I just miss seeing what everyone has been doing and keeping track of what I've been doing. I haven't gained in fact I'm down 1lb. but only cause I running so much and it's out of my normal routine.

Sometimes having a hectic schedule can be good for loss, or it could be bad since eating "on the go" can make for lousy choices. It looks like you have been making the good choices. Congrats on the loss and good luck to the team!!!

Thanks Awake, but actually I think I've been eating good, I do take lots of fruit and nuts. But you know nuts can be high in calories but they are good calories. Thank you!

Good job taking fruits & nuts along with you. Don't worry about the hype about nuts being high in calories & fats. The calorie/fat in fruits, nuts, and veggies is 100% percent better than any processed food with even lesser amounts. Why? Because it's natural and your body is designed for it. Our bodies aren't designed for process foods at all. Keep up the good work buddy.
