I just reached my March 1st weight goal almost a full 3 months early! I'm really proud, and if other avenues in my life were more optimal, I'd be elated!

Since November 1st, I have worked to complete a minimum of 10,000 steps and / or 30 min of cardio per day (I usually use Zumba Youtube videos, or use the elliptical). I've been counting calories daily (intake and burned off), and I try to make sure I do a journal entry (to keep myself motivated and to pinpoint where I falter. I've noticed that if I don't log calories AND journal, then I fall off the wagon and my weight climbs because its so easy to fall back in to old (eating) habits! I have been conscious of my sodium intake, and drink 64-96 ounces of water daily (sometimes I put some lemon juice and a little sweetener in it so its like a diluted lemonade). My meals typically consist of an apple or smoothie for breakfast (spanning into lunch). Gulping down water when I get a little hunger pang (its almost alway just my belly being bored), as well as drinking a tall glass of water before eating any meals, to be certain I feel full. I treat myself to a hot meal 1-3 times per week (on my days off from work), otherwise I have a large salad or a sandwich for dinner. I weigh myself daily so I can learn how my intake directly affects me day to day. It has helped me bunches!

Wow. I'm at your starting weight now and hoping to be where you are by february. Maybe I'll start doing what your doing!! (Although I've never been able to get over 8k steps) Great job :D Thats awesome.

I am old. I get a silver sneakers card with my health insurance, and I am going to use it at least 3 days this week. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thurs., and maybe even Friday. I'm going to report myself here if I don't.
