weirdangel: Thx for the encouragement! It seems like such a long way to go to get back to where I once was (120-130s 18 yrs old til' I was about 37 yrs old). But it took a long time getting here and it's gonna take awhile to get back around there (Goal: 145 lbs). When I hope for 2 lbs gone and the scale shows me only 1 lb gone. I open the fridge and pick up a pound of butter, and smile knowing that it is no longer on my body. I have a two-story home and have been doing walks up and down them as exercise. I am getting faster and faster going up, and my legs alllllllmooooooossssst don't hurt when I go up anymore.

I use the same analogy when I try to visualize my weight loss! Did you know that a gallon of milk weighs 8-1/2 pounds? You have lost almost 3 gallons of milk! Imagine trying to carry those around everywhere, everyday! You are doing great!!

gg-girl: omgosh... I didn't ever think of gallons of milk as weight gone. Now that you have shared that a gallon of milk weighs 8-1/2 lbs I will dwell on that visualization while I get rid of another one! :) Thx!
