Last week was just insane. My Aunt passed away after a vigilant battle with Parkinson's Disease/Lyme disease. She is at peace and died peacefully surrounded by caregivers and family at home 1:30am Oct 8th. Flurry of activity to get service and all the details completed. There was no schedule exercise or real eating that occurred last week. Went to a funeral Thursday for a long time family acquaintance, then Friday for my aunt. Both beautiful and two individuals who touched many lives in our town and surrounding towns.
Saturday - drove short bus for first time, took 7 people to visit Hollywild, a zoo where animals who have been in movies or commercials go to retire. Pretty interesting and look forward to returning.
Sunday - charge conference meeting after church. Didn't plan on going, but figured it would be an opportunity for our superintendent to see what we have done over the past 5 years and our fast approaching retirement. Then had youth group and they had apparently too much sugar...they were jacked up! Talked about Jesus wanting us to passionately pursue Him and also about the Seven Deadly Sins. Good conversation.
Monday - rode to work with sister. So many things to get done this week. It's really insane. So gonna head off this.
*Looking forward to getting back into 50/50/50 workout -- just been on the verge of exhaustion lately. Ready to get back to whatever version of "normal" we can.
Tomorrow hubby finds out the MRI results....
