So here I am AGAIN. Starting over AGAIN. I feel I was faithful and true with my last "Again" but apparently I was not. I never lost the weight.
I am recommitting myself to recording my food.
I have joined a gym. I am going today even though I really really want to stay home and do nothing. My legs are screaming from the 5 minutes on the devil-made elliptical. Then 45 on the treadmill ( 3.2 mph at 2% incline). My legs felt like rubber.
I know I am worth the trouble. But, working out is like work. And sometimes you really don't want to go to work.
I am excited the gym has an indoor pool. I swim like a fish, and it's a gym so everyone is there to improve-right? I should get no whale calls in this place. Though, admittedly, I am a smidge worried about it. Chubby chicks can't help but worry about those things.
My calorie intake goal is 1400.
In the next week I plan on making the gym 5 days a week.
I will up my water intake.
I will spend more time outside in the gorgeous weather.
Ok, off I go.

Even though you're starting AGAIN -- the real keyword here is you're STARTING! It takes time and sometimes it takes multiple efforts for something to really stick. It took me 8 months to quit smoking, and several years before that to get me to the point where I wanted to quit. Losing weight is just as tough!!!

Re: Swimming... I go to the pool 3 times a week... twice for lane, and once for leasure with my niece. Even at the leasure swim where the pool is public I have yet to hear a whale call or any kind of rude comment, so do not worry about it. I think its great that you are willing to join the rest of us chubby girls in swimming! And also look at the other people in the pool, there are generally alot of different body types, and if someone is shallow enough to judge you for swimming at a gym they need to shake their head and re-think because you are all their for the same reason - to be healthier.
