Oh No! i'm gaining weight?!?!?!?!I increased my calories from 500 to 1000 calories............this is not good at all.....i guess my metabolism is so low.........how can i increase my metabolism???? or is this water weight as i have hormonal problems????......

If you have trained your body to exist on only 500 calories a day, when you raise the calories, you will initially gain weight. This is the reason why it is so important for people who want to lose weight not to go under 1000. Because there is no way you can live the rest of your life eating so little without it being detrimental to your health. Focus on eating lots of fruits, veggies, lean meat/protein and lean dairy. Try to stay away from processed foods and junk (too much sodium). Give it a couple of weeks and see if gets better (it will take time to get your metabolism moving again). You might also try and eat 5 or 6 smaller meals throughout the day to keep your metabolism buring. Also, get in some exercise every day (even walking is good). Good luck!
