Where do you find venison? Hard to come by where I am. Only my dog gets to eat it b/c it's available as organic raw food. My fur baby eats healthier than me.

You guys r going to live a long long healthy life. I've had venison sausages. Very lean. Hubs had a friend from PA who shared his stash to give us a taste.
I can eat it, but would need to cook it some mushrooms, onion, or ginger to cut some of the gameiness. Or add some fat, which would defeat the healthy aspect of it.
Strangely enough I enjoy the gameiness of goat more.
